Take a few minutes to make a list of every place your credit card number is stored. This can include payment apps on your phone and automatic withdrawals for merchants. Taking a look at several months of statements will help you easily pinpoint which merchants automatically debit your account. Having this list will allow you to seamlessly update your stored information when you need to. Keep this with your file of other important documents, like photocopies of your driver’s license and passport.
